Give Las Vegas heat a say.

Your room may run hotter than the rating conditions. Higher air and water temperatures can reduce production. We confirm your machine at site evaluation.

Your reference: Scotsman Ice Production FAQ: typical ratings use 90°F air with 70°F water.

Your local context: July’s normal high is 104.5°F. NWS Las Vegas, 1991 to 2020 normals.

A little clarity

Your questions. Plain answers.

Is this a final machine recommendation?

No, your estimate is a planning figure. Room conditions and peak use still matter. We confirm the equipment at evaluation.

Can I include a fountain cold plate?

Yes, check the cold plate option for your fountain. It adds the published 45 percent allowance. You can see that in the formula.

What if my business is not listed?

Share your actual daily usage with us. We do not invent an industry rate. Your site review can start with those records.

Which count should you enter?

Choose the use that matches your station. Restaurant planning uses people served. Bar planning uses seats. Your hotel guest estimate uses room count. Check the label beside the number field. Each setting has its own basis. A correct count with the wrong category gives an unhelpful starting point.

For your fountain station, record cups by size. Choose the matching size range in the tool. Include the cold plate only if it applies. Your formula shows the selected rate. Keep separate calculations for mixed cup sizes. Bring those figures together in the equipment discussion.

What does the daily result leave to review?

Your result describes a starting daily quantity. It does not describe the biggest single draw. Note that peak separately. Include the storage staff empty during service. Your bin and production need to work together. A large daily figure alone cannot describe the timing of your ice use.

Your room also affects the final choice. Note nearby heat and the available airflow. Show where water, power and drainage connect. Your site evaluation reviews those details. Use Send My Estimate to carry the result into your request. Add the room and peak-use notes when discussing your setup.
